How the Basketball Bungee Challenge Works
The basketball bungee challenge takes the competitive thrill of a traditional bungee run and adds a basketball twist. Two players strap into adjustable bungee harnesses at one end of a 34-foot inflatable lane. On "go," both competitors sprint toward the basketball hoops at the far end, fighting against the resistance of the bungee cord with every step. The goal is to grab a basketball, stretch far enough to reach the hoop, and sink a shot before the bungee cord pulls you off your feet and sends you sliding back down the cushioned inflatable surface. The player who makes a basket from the farthest distance, or simply gets the most baskets before being snapped back, wins. Each match lasts about 20 to 40 seconds, so large groups rotate through quickly, and the combination of bungee resistance and basketball shooting creates moments of hilarious, unpredictable entertainment that spectators love.
What Makes the Basketball Bungee Challenge a Standout Rental
34-Foot Inflatable Lane
The full-length inflatable lane gives competitors plenty of runway to build speed against the bungee cord. The cushioned surface provides a soft landing when the cord snaps players back. Enclosed side walls keep all the action contained safely within the inflatable arena.
Dual Basketball Hoops
Each lane has its own basketball hoop positioned at the far end. Players must stretch against the bungee cord to reach the hoop and sink their shot. The basketball element adds a skill component that separates this rental from a standard bungee run, rewarding coordination as much as speed and strength.
Bungee Harnesses Included
Two adjustable bungee harnesses with elastic cords are included with every rental. The harnesses are designed to fit a wide range of body sizes and heights, so participants ages 7 and up can compete safely. The elastic cords provide progressive resistance that increases the farther each player runs.
Ages 7 and Up
The basketball bungee challenge is designed for participants ages 7 and up, making it accessible to older kids, teenagers, and adults. The adjustable harnesses accommodate different sizes, so a 10-year-old and a full-grown adult can compete in back-to-back rounds without any equipment changes.

Basketball Bungee Challenge Rental FAQs for Sacramento Events
How much does the basketball bungee challenge cost to rent in Sacramento?
The basketball bungee challenge rents for $350 per event from Bouncey House Rentals. The price includes the full 34-foot inflatable bungee basketball lane, two bungee harnesses, basketballs, hoops, and professional delivery, setup, and takedown anywhere in the Greater Sacramento Area. What ages can use the basketball bungee challenge?
The basketball bungee challenge is designed for participants ages 7 and up. Older kids, teenagers, and adults all compete safely in the adjustable bungee harnesses. The harnesses accommodate a wide range of heights and body types, so participants of different sizes can race head-to-head without any equipment adjustments between rounds.
How is the basketball bungee challenge different from a regular bungee run?
A standard bungee run measures how far each competitor can place a velcro marker before being snapped back. The basketball bungee challenge adds basketball hoops at the end of the lane, so competitors must sprint, grab a basketball, and sink a shot before the cord pulls them back. This adds a skill element on top of the strength and speed competition, making each round more unpredictable and entertaining for both players and spectators.
How many people can use the basketball bungee challenge at once?
Two participants compete at a time, one in each lane. Each match lasts about 20 to 40 seconds, so large groups rotate through very quickly. Over the course of a typical event, dozens or even hundreds of guests can take a turn. Many events organize elimination-style brackets where the winners of each round advance until a champion is crowned.
How much space do I need for the basketball bungee challenge?
The basketball bungee challenge inflatable measures 34 ft long by 12 ft wide by 12 ft tall. You need a flat setup area of at least 38 ft long by 16 ft wide with 15 ft of overhead clearance. The area must be free of overhead obstructions like tree branches, power lines, and awnings. Grass, dirt, and flat ground surfaces all work.
Does the basketball bungee challenge require electricity?
Yes, the basketball bungee challenge requires one standard electrical outlet within 100 feet of the setup location. A continuous blower keeps the inflatable lane inflated during the rental period. If your event location does not have electrical access, Bouncey House Rentals offers generator rentals as an add-on.
Is the basketball bungee challenge safe?
Yes. The entire lane is a cushioned inflatable surface that provides a soft landing when the bungee cord pulls racers back. The bungee harnesses are secure and adjustable, and the enclosed lane walls keep all the action contained within the inflatable. Bouncey House Rentals carries full liability insurance and has maintained a spotless safety record for 17+ years of event rentals across the Greater Sacramento Area.
